Nautel has recently identified another software issue that can cause VS-Series Transmitters to spontaneously switch from LOCAL control mode to REMOTE control mode. They have corrected this behaviour in VS Series 4.2.5, which may be downloaded from their FTP site at this link: NAUTEL FTP.
Nautel considers this to be an IMPORTANT update, and recommends all customers install it at their earliest opportunity.
Please note that this issue ONLY affects VS-Series transmitters, only switches from LOCAL to REMOTE, and never from REMOTE to LOCAL.
