Nautel NX50 – 50kW AM Transmitter

The NX50 uses Nautel’s patent-pending real-time impedance measurement technology which compares the transmitted voltage and current waveforms to measure the load impedance over the operational frequency range. Because this system can measure impedance without requiring artificial swept tones, the antenna system impedance locus can be measured without taking the station off-air.

Nautel NX100 – 100kW AM Transmitter

With power outputs of 50 to 2,000 kW, the NX Series sets a new standard for digital performance, rugged design and operational ease in the industry’s most compact enclosure. Add AM adaptive precorrection, up to 90% efficiency, available integrated DRM exciter or HD Radio Exgine card plus an intuitive touch screen interface and the result is the most advanced medium wave transmitter available today.

Nautel XR3 – 3kW AM Transmitter (Single Phase)

Dual RF exciters and modulation encoders with automatic changeover. Synthesized exciter uses advanced DDS technology to produce RF drive at the desired operating frequency. For synchronous operation an external input is provided for a 10 MHz precision GPS reference clock.
High overall efficiency (83% typical) results in low power consumption (5.4 kW maximum at 3 kW, 100% modulation) and reduced operating costs.

Nautel XR6 – 6kW AM Transmitter (Single Phase)

The XR6 is purposely designed for demanding AM broadcast applications that require reserve power. This extra power overcomes antenna system losses such as those encountered in complex directional arrays. It allows aggressive audio processing and high levels of asymetrical modulation to produce more sideband energy and a louder signal. Extra power also makes it possible to maintain full power AM transmission while transmitting a digital signal or simultaneous phase-coded data.
