OPTIMOD 8700i LT Processor – Shipping Soon!

 

The OPTIMOD 8700i LT Audio Processor offers the versatile five-band and two-band processing of an 8700i and supports both analog FM transmission and digital media including DAB+ and streaming. It includes exclusive features such as the Multipath Mitigator phase corrector, which can reduce multipath distortion without compromising the stereo separation; and the Subharmonic Synthesizer which allows you to add modern-sounding bass punch to older recordings. With the dual redundant power supplies and safety bypass relays, the 8700i LT makes sure that carefree 24/7 operation is guaranteed.

Like the 8700i, the 8700i LT includes Orban’s MX limiter technology which lowers distortion, improves transient punch, and minimizes preemphasis-induced high-frequency loss. Further features are a digital MPX output, an ITU BS-412 Multiplex Power Control, an ITU-R BS.1770-3+ Loudness Control as well as a built-in RDS Encoder.

Tieline Unveils NEW ViA Dual Active SIM Module

 

Tieline has developed a new internal Dual Active SIM Module for the ViA remote codec supporting two active cellular connections. Designed to perform in the most challenging production environments, the new module supports using SIM cards from different Telcos simultaneously for diversity when using Tieline’s industry-leading SmartStream PLUS dual redundant streaming technology. The two SIM cards can also be bonded to create additional bandwidth using a single robust Fuse-IP link.

“The new ViA dual internal modem will deliver more choice to Tieline customers for wireless remote broadcasting,” said Charlie Gawley, VP Sales APAC/EMEA. “The ViA already supports connecting two air cards using USB, however many customers requested an internal module with dual modems to avoid using external dongles. This innovation also means there will be seven different IP interface options from which to choose when going live.”
