Nautel Training Down Under

Thanks to TX Australia for hosting 2 weeks of technical training at their Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne facilities late last year. This was a great opportunity for TXA to engage with Nautel technician Adam Middelkoop on site specific needs as well as draw on his extensive product knowledge and experience. The program was a huge success although Adam had a lot of trouble getting used to seeing Christmas decorations in 30C + heat! Quite a change from sub zero Canadian weather!

Celebrating 50 years!

2019 is a milestone year for both Sonifex and Nautel who will notch up a combined century of service to the broadcast industry. What an achievement! In 1969 Sonifex began as a small family partnership that has grown to earn a first class international reputation for quality and reliability. Their innovation continues to win prestigious industry awards and distribution now extends to more than 70 countries.

From humble beginnings in the same year, Nautel has become a world leader in the design and manufacture of RF products with more than 16,000 transmitters deployed to 177 countries.

  • How are worldwide electricity costs changing?
  • What impact is this having on operators of high-power (100 kW+) facilities?
  • How efficient are AM/MW transmitters that are being used in various high-power installations?
  • What role do Modulation Dependent Carrier Level algorithms play in high-power MW facilities?
  • What changes might be coming in MDCL?
