Tieline has released new ViA codec firmware v3.12.10 supporting a range of highly anticipated new features. Major features in this release include support for:
- Unique default passwords
- Redundant SIP streams
- Ability to group Tielink contacts
- Sessionless redundancy
- RTSP programs
- EQ and Dynamics on decodes in addition to inputs
- Ember+ Logical GPIO support
- Write protection for loaded programs
- Ability to prevent connection panel program edits on the front-panel for basic users
“There are many functional changes that improve usability of the ViA in this significant release,” said Charlie Gawley, VP Sales APAC/EMEA. “Customers have requested SIP redundant streaming support, Ember+ LIO support, as well as improved password management features. These features are delivered and much more.”
