Radio World Editor to speak at Nautel NUG

Radio World Editor in Chief Paul McLane will be a guest speaker at Nautel’s Annual NUG@NAB Event in Las Vegas. The NUG (Nautel User’s Group) attracts 300 or more members each year on the Sunday of the NAB Show. This year’s meeting will be held at the Vendome A Ballroom in the Paris Las Vegas Conference Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with an optional Advanced User Interface (AUI) Technical Session after a complimentary hot buffet lunch. At the event, Nautel speakers and guests give product and industry updates, talk about “tips and tricks” to improve product performance and efficiency, and discuss their own innovations. The NUG is open to anyone interested in the company’s transmitters but registration is required.

Special guest speaker Paul McLane will talk about regulatory and technical topics and trends that Radio World is following at the show. Radio World turns 40 this summer and McLane is the longest-tenured editor. He was an award-winning radio news anchor and is a former broadcast technology sales and marketing executive. During his tenure, Radio World launched Radio World Engineering Extra and the Radio World Excellence in Engineering Award program, now in its 13th year of honoring leading radio engineers and technologists.
